pLink Leadership is excited to introduce Col. DeDe Halfhill, USAF, ret. as the newest member of our team! DeDe joins us as a Senior Executive Coach and Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator. We love that she is brave, creative, and brings a tested “boots on the ground” point of view to our leadership development curriculum. DeDe received her certification through Georgetown’s Executive Leadership Coach program.
Before joining pLink Leadership, DeDe was the Special Assistant for Public Affairs to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Other highlights from her 25-year career military career include two tours in Iraq, selection as a Congressional Fellow for former Honorable Senator Evan Bayh (IN), selection as a Senior National Defense Fellow with the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service (Georgetown University); and proudly serving as a member of the Thunderbirds (USAF Air Demonstration Squadron).
DeDe understands the pressure decision-makers face in high-stress, no-easy-answer environments. She is passionate about supporting leaders as they navigate the paradoxes, ambiguities, and uncertainties inherent to leadership in today’s complex environment. She believes with the right support leaders gain comfort in leaning into the gifts of these spaces rather than being paralyzed by them.
DeDe lives in Alexandria, VA. As a life-long learning, she is happiest when reading, listening to a podcast or diving into the latest growth-focused, on-line program. When she’s not being a bookworm, you can find her outside either on a hike in nature or walking her two mischievous, but loveable dogs, Hank and Henry.
