Q&A with Alexis

Where I grew up: Santa Cruz, CA

My family: My husband Arnaud, my twins Celeste and Aidan (teens), our cat Grouch, and our dog Poppy

My favorite music: Men at Work, Fleetwood Mac, basically anything played on a deck at happy hour. 80’s pop, 90’s country music. And some days old school Metallica.

My favorite foods: Sushi, Mexican food, and a filet mignon with potatoes and roasted vegetables

My favorite cocktail: Margaritas on the back deck, Sauvignon Blanc on hot summer days, A cold Stella Artois when I’m snowboarding.

What I like to do in my spare time: Be outside, hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, camping, international travel, and entertaining my friends and family.

My first job: Selling sweet peas from my garden in Seacliff Beach, CA at age 12.  But after that hostessing and waiting tables at Zelda’s in Capitola.

Something no one would believe about me: I once tried to be vegan… It lasted 7 days.

Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.
