Graduating in 1991 with a BFA in Theater, Jennifer moved from Ohio to Chicago to pursue a theater career. After a decade as an independent contractor working for dozens of professional theaters, she accepted a position at a small training and consulting firm, where her duties included creating informational packets and meeting summarization and documentation.
In 2003, Jennifer launched her own desktop publishing business, building on her design skills and partnering with Gretchen Pisano, whom she met while working for the corporate training company. For a decade, Gretchen and Jennifer worked closely together, developing a unique style of tools, graphics, visuals, and concept models.
Jennifer is profoundly happy living in the Chicago suburb of Des Plaines with her husband, her daughter, and her cat.
