With more than 25 years of combined experience in academia, corporate, and entrepreneurship, Helen specializes in helping executives and leaders come home to themselves, aligning with and utilizing their unique blend of strengths and values so that they may use what is best in them to engage with their opportunities and challenges with clarity and vitality. She helps her clients bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be, so that they lead themselves and others wholeheartedly with courage, insight, and compassion. An empathetic coach, consultant, wellness strategist, and facilitator, Helen provides a safe space and a committed presence for her clients. She works closely with her clients to help them increase their self-awareness and access insights for personal and organizational success while maintaining and building their wellbeing and achieving the outcomes that matter most.
Completing a BSc, PhD, and Post-Doctorate assignment in Physiological Sciences, Helen enjoyed research, teaching, and mentoring PhD, medical, and dental students. Following academia, Helen entered the corporate world as an executive in a Fortune 50 company in clinical research, gaining experience in multiple therapeutic areas and disciplines, including clinical research, project management, program management, and regulatory medical writing. Helen has successfully worked cross-culturally, with extensive international experience, including professional assignments throughout Europe, Australia, and the United States.
Helen earned her Professional Certified Coach designation from the International Coach Federation. She is a Certified Daring Way™ and Dare to Lead™ Facilitator and a certified practitioner of the Leadership Circle Profile™ 360 assessment tool and the Leadership Circle System of leadership development. She is qualified to administer Gallup’s Strength Based Leadership assessment and the VIA Pro: Character Strengths assessment.
Born and raised in the North of England, Helen now lives in Wilmington, Delaware, with her husband, two teenage children, and rescue dog, who provide daily inspiration for living an engaged, meaningful, and adventurous life, sense of humor included.
