Program Description

Career transition can be challenging. It also brings significant opportunities to redefine your priorities and yourself. The process of honoring your achievements, remembering what you care about now, and letting go of beliefs that no longer serve you is fierce work. This course offers an intentional process to ask and answer these important questions for yourself, with the guidance of our executive coach team and the support of a dedicated cohort. Each graduate will walk away with:
  • Clarity around your overall life goals and how your work fits within the larger context of your life.
  • Appreciation of your unique strengths, talents, and values.
  • An understanding of how these unique attributes can be leveraged into paid work.
  • A practical action plan and timeline to achieve your unique career goals.
  • Optional assignments include updating your resume, LinkedIn, and personal budget to align with your values, strengths, and aspirations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should attend?

Anyone considering a career transition. Participants may be looking to transition within the same company or want to shift industries or roles. Participants may be re-joining the workforce after a long period away or be preparing for a meaningful retirement.

What can I expect in the virtual classroom?

This class will be delivered via the Zoom platform. pLink Leadership has been designing and delivering virtual Zoom training for years. You are in good hands. We expertly use the virtual medium to create a highly interactive class with small-group discussions, silent reflections, active exercises, and videos. Participants can expect a coach-to-participant ratio of not more than 1 to 12. Participants are expected to come prepared to fully engage, with video cameras on. As the course includes discussions of a personal nature, sessions will not be recorded. Participants are encouraged to attend every session, as the content builds upon itself.

What are the time requirements?

Two equally important elements of the course are group and individual exploration. For individual exploration, the program includes access to a cohort-specific online portal with real-world exercises, journal prompts, and resources to expand the learning. Personal exploration activities occur between live sessions at your own pace.

pLink Leadership has one big goal: to accelerate positive change by fusing the sciences of human nature with the discipline of leadership to transform the world of work. We call this “the positivity link,” and it is the origin story of our name – and our daily practice.

Positive leadership is not rainbows and unicorns. It takes courageous curiosity, a high tolerance for vulnerability, self-awareness, perspective, and perseverance. We exist to inspire our clients to become deliberately-developing positive leaders, and to walk that path alongside them, providing a steady source of creative tension between what is and what can be.

We believe positive leaders are a multiplier effect – positive leadership is good business.
